||As I look at the front page of our website, I seldom can resist viewing again the video with
the beautiful retreat pictures and Gregorian chant that helps so well to tell who we are.
We are a contemplative house of prayer with an apostolic calling. We learn of the mystery
of God in the deep places, the quiet places, of our lives, of our soul. There are times when
we need God so intensely to show up for us. It’s in the silence, the solitude, the prayer, that
God reveals Himself t us. He comes with words, healing, fire, but all wrapped in His love.
He is conviction, that leads us to healing, He is desire, that leads us to Himself, He is hope
that can come when we have lost all that we may have ever had. These are the things we
experience through the ministry of New Beginnings House of Prayer.
We take all that we learn, all that we are in God, it into our world. We believe truly in the words of Isaiah 61:1-3:
We welcome you to become more a part of our ministry in whatever way you feel led. Learn of us, so we can learn of
Again we are so grateful for the community of people that support us. We need you to continue reaching out…to
continue going out.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He shine His face upon you, may He grant you great peace.

|1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed
2 He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the
time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it,
the day of God’s anger against their enemies.
3 To all who mourn in Israel,
he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a
joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive
praise instead of despair. In their
righteousness, they will be like great oaks that
the Lord has planted for his own glory.
